Igcarb Eye Drop contains Carboxymethylcellulose 0.5% w/v, a sterile ophthalmic lubricant indicated for the relief of dry, irritated eyes caused by environmental factors or prolonged visual display terminal use. Carboxymethylcellulose is a hydrophilic polymer that acts as a tear substitute, providing lubrication and moisture retention on the ocular surface. This formulation helps to restore the natural tear film, reducing symptoms such as burning, stinging, irritation, and discomfort associated with dry eye syndrome. Igcarb Eye Drop is preservative-free, minimizing the risk of ocular surface toxicity and allergic reactions, making it suitable for frequent use. It is recommended to instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed, up to four times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Patients should avoid contamination of the dropper tip by contact with any surface, including the eye. Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to Carboxymethylcellulose or any component of the formulation. Igcarb Eye Drop is not intended for the treatment of eye infections or other ocular conditions requiring specific therapy.
