Idoxine Powder is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi, and is particularly useful in wounds complicated by infection or heavy exudation.
The product should be applied directly to the wound bed after appropriate cleaning, with frequency of dressing changes determined by the level of exudate and clinical response. Caution is advised in patients with iodine sensitivity, thyroid disorders, or those undergoing radioiodine therapy.
