Hyperstat-F Tablet is a combination lipid-lowering agent containing Fenofibrate 160 mg and Rosuvastatin 10 mg, indicated for the management of dyslipidemia and mixed hyperlipidemia. Fenofibrate, a fibric acid derivative, primarily reduces triglyceride levels and increases high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) by activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα), which enhances lipolysis and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and total cholesterol by inhibiting the rate-limiting step in cholesterol biosynthesis, thereby upregulating LDL receptors and enhancing clearance of LDL particles from the bloodstream. The combination therapy offers a complementary mechanism of action, providing comprehensive lipid control in patients who require both triglyceride reduction and LDL-C lowering. Hyperstat-F is indicated for patients with mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and those at high risk of cardiovascular events due to elevated lipid levels.
