Sodium Hyaluronate is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan with high water retention capacity, which provides effective lubrication and hydration to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium. This eye drop formulation helps to restore the tear film, reduce ocular surface irritation, and promote epithelial healing by maintaining a moist environment.

Hylumax Eye Drop is indicated for symptomatic relief of dryness, burning, itching, and foreign body sensation associated with dry eyes, as well as for use in cases of exposure keratopathy, contact lens discomfort, and postoperative eye care. The product is preservative-free or contains minimal preservatives to minimize the risk of ocular toxicity and hypersensitivity reactions, making it suitable for frequent and long-term use.
It is administered topically, typically one to two drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. Patients should avoid contamination by not touching the dropper tip to any surface. Hylumax Eye Drop is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Consult an ophthalmologist before use in cases of severe ocular conditions.
