Glycerin serves as a humectant and osmoprotectant, contributing to moisture retention and cellular protection against desiccation and environmental stress. N-acetylcarnosine, a potent antioxidant, is included for its ability to reduce oxidative stress in the lens and cornea, potentially slowing the progression of cataract formation and improving overall ocular health. Hylube Eye Drop is indicated for symptomatic relief of dry, irritated eyes and may be used adjunctively in patients at risk of oxidative ocular damage.
The formulation is preservative-free, minimizing the risk of hypersensitivity reactions and ensuring suitability for frequent use. It is recommended to instill one to two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by an ophthalmologist. Patients should avoid contamination of the dropper tip and discontinue use if ocular irritation persists.

How to use Hylube Eye Drop This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
