Hyline 25 Tablet contains Hydroxyzine 25 mg, an antihistamine with anxiolytic, sedative, and antiemetic properties. It is primarily indicated for the management of anxiety and tension associated with psychoneurosis and as an adjunct in organic disease states in which anxiety is manifested. Additionally, Hyline 25 is effective in the symptomatic relief of pruritus due to allergic conditions such as chronic urticaria, atopic and contact dermatoses, and in the management of nausea and vomiting. Hydroxyzine acts by blocking H1 histamine receptors, thereby reducing the effects of histamine in the body, which contributes to its antipruritic and anti-allergic effects. The sedative action is attributed to its central nervous system depressant activity. Hyline 25 is administered orally, with dosage tailored according to the severity of symptoms and patient response. Caution is advised in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to hydroxyzine or related compounds, and in those with impaired hepatic or renal function.
