It is indicated for the treatment of various conditions including severe allergic reactions, adrenal insufficiency, inflammatory disorders, and certain autoimmune diseases. Hydrocortisone acts by inhibiting the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation and immune responses, thereby reducing swelling, redness, and allergic symptoms.

Hydrobrace Injection is administered intramuscularly or intravenously, allowing rapid onset of action, making it suitable for acute management of severe conditions such as anaphylaxis, shock, or exacerbations of chronic diseases. Dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition, response to treatment, and underlying disease. Caution is advised in patients with infections, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or peptic ulcer disease, as corticosteroids may exacerbate these conditions.
Common adverse effects include fluid retention, increased blood pressure, hyperglycemia, and potential suppression of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis with prolonged use. Hydrobrace Injection should be used under strict medical supervision, with monitoring for side effects and periodic assessment of therapeutic efficacy. It is contraindicated in patients with systemic fungal infections and known hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any component of the formulation.
