Hu-Liv Tablet contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid 300 mg, a hydrophilic bile acid used primarily in the management of certain hepatobiliary disorders. Ursodeoxycholic Acid acts by reducing the cholesterol content of bile and bile stones, thereby promoting the dissolution of cholesterol gallstones and improving bile flow. It is indicated for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis, a chronic liver disease characterized by progressive destruction of intrahepatic bile ducts, as well as for the prevention and treatment of cholesterol gallstones in patients who are not candidates for surgery. Additionally, Hu-Liv Tablet may be employed to improve liver function tests in cholestatic liver diseases and to reduce liver enzyme levels.
