Methylcobalamin plays a critical role in DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and maintenance of the myelin sheath surrounding nerve fibers, thereby supporting nerve regeneration and reducing neuropathic symptoms. Homin Injection is administered intramuscularly or intravenously, allowing rapid absorption and bioavailability, which is particularly beneficial in cases of severe deficiency or neurological impairment.
Clinical use includes management of peripheral neuropathies, diabetic neuropathy, and other neurological disorders associated with vitamin B12 deficiency. Dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition and response to treatment. Adverse effects are rare but may include mild injection site reactions or hypersensitivity. Caution is advised in patients with known hypersensitivity to cobalamin or any component of the formulation.
