Mefenamic Acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, leading to decreased prostaglandin synthesis. The combination of these two active ingredients provides effective symptomatic relief in conditions such as abdominal cramps, dysmenorrhea, renal colic, and other spasmodic pain disorders.
Hiyoz-MF Tablet should be used as directed by a healthcare professional, with caution advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, renal or hepatic impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or anticholinergic agents. Common adverse effects may include dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
