Histamont-B Tablet is a combination medication containing Bilastine 20 mg and Montelukast 10 mg, indicated for the management of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. Bilastine is a second-generation antihistamine that selectively antagonizes peripheral H1 histamine receptors, providing effective relief from symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, itching, and rhinorrhea without causing significant sedation. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene receptor, thereby reducing inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production associated with allergic responses.
