HHzole Cream is a topical formulation containing Mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w, a potent corticosteroid, combined with Clotrimazole 1% w/w, an antifungal agent. This combination is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and fungal skin conditions such as dermatophytosis, candidiasis, and mixed infections where inflammation and fungal proliferation coexist. Mometasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and itching. Clotrimazole acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to increased membrane permeability and fungal cell death. HHzole Cream should be applied topically to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, for the prescribed duration. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation and should be used cautiously in areas with thin skin or mucous membranes. Prolonged use may lead to local side effects such as skin atrophy, irritation, or secondary infections. Patients are advised to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes and to discontinue use if adverse reactions occur.
