HH Salic Lotion is a topical formulation containing Mometasone furoate 0.10% w/v, a potent corticosteroid, combined with Salicylic Acid 3.50% w/v, a keratolytic agent. This combination is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and hyperkeratotic dermatoses such as psoriasis, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, and other corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions characterized by scaling, thickening, and inflammation. Mometasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and itching. Salicylic Acid facilitates the removal of scales and promotes the penetration of the corticosteroid by softening and exfoliating the stratum corneum. HH Salic Lotion should be applied once or twice daily to the affected area, avoiding contact with eyes and mucous membranes. It is intended for short-term use under medical supervision to minimize potential adverse effects such as skin atrophy, irritation, or systemic absorption. Caution is advised in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component.
