Hfciem Injection contains Ferric Carboxymaltose 50 mg/ml, an intravenous iron preparation indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia when oral iron therapy is ineffective or cannot be used. Ferric Carboxymaltose is a stable complex that allows controlled release of iron to the reticuloendothelial system, facilitating rapid replenishment of iron stores and hemoglobin synthesis. It is particularly useful in patients with chronic kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease, postpartum anemia, or those undergoing chemotherapy, where iron requirements are elevated or absorption is impaired. Administration should be performed under medical supervision, with dosage individualized based on the patient’s iron deficit, hemoglobin levels, and clinical response. Common adverse effects include transient hypersensitivity reactions, headache, nausea, dizziness, and injection site reactions.
