Hexigel is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the oral mucosa, including plaque-induced gingivitis, and as an adjunct to mechanical plaque control measures such as brushing and flossing. It is also beneficial in reducing oral microbial load following dental surgeries or procedures, thereby promoting healing and preventing secondary infections. The gel formulation ensures prolonged contact with oral tissues, enhancing its therapeutic efficacy.
Hexigel should be applied topically to the affected area, typically twice daily, preferably after oral hygiene practices.
