The recommended dosage involves applying a thin layer of the cream five times daily at approximately four-hour intervals, excluding nighttime, for a duration of 5 days or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Herpex 5% Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acyclovir or any component of the formulation.
