Healsenz Ointment is a topical formulation combining Gabapentin (8% w/w), Diclofenac (4.64% w/w), and Methyl Salicylate (5% w/w) designed for the management of neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain. Gabapentin, a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) analogue, modulates neuronal excitability and provides analgesic effects particularly in neuropathic pain conditions. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis at the site of application.
