Hbmol 10mg/ml Infusion contains Paracetamol at a concentration equivalent to 1000mg per dose, formulated for intravenous administration. It is indicated for the management of moderate to severe pain and for the reduction of fever when oral or rectal routes are not feasible or contraindicated. Paracetamol, a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent, exerts its effect primarily through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, thereby modulating pain and temperature regulation.

Hbmol 10mg/ml Infusion is particularly useful in postoperative pain control, severe musculoskeletal pain, and febrile conditions requiring rapid onset of action. The intravenous route ensures prompt bioavailability and is suitable for patients unable to tolerate oral medications. Dosage should be individualized based on patient weight, age, and clinical condition, with careful monitoring to avoid exceeding the maximum daily dose to prevent hepatotoxicity.
Caution is advised in patients with liver impairment, chronic alcohol use, or concomitant use of other hepatotoxic drugs. Adverse effects are generally rare but may include hypersensitivity reactions, hypotension, or infusion site irritation.
