Guficap Injection contains Caspofungin 70 mg, an echinocandin antifungal agent indicated for the treatment of invasive fungal infections. Guficap Injection is primarily used in the management of invasive candidiasis, including candidemia, esophageal candidiasis, and other Candida infections refractory to or intolerant of other antifungal therapies.

It is also indicated for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis in patients who are refractory to or intolerant of other antifungal agents. The injection is administered intravenously, with dosing adjusted based on the severity of infection and patient-specific factors such as hepatic function. Caspofungin demonstrates a favorable safety profile with common adverse effects including mild infusion-related reactions, elevated liver enzymes, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
