Grisovin-FP is indicated for conditions such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, and onychomycosis. The tablet is administered orally, with absorption enhanced when taken with a fatty meal. Treatment duration varies depending on the site and severity of infection, often requiring several weeks to months for complete resolution. Common adverse effects include headache, gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea and diarrhea, and photosensitivity reactions.
Caution is advised in patients with hepatic impairment or porphyria, and it is contraindicated in pregnancy due to potential teratogenicity.
