Golbicure 300 Tablet contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid 300 mg, a bile acid used primarily for the treatment of certain liver and gallbladder disorders. Ursodeoxycholic Acid works by reducing the cholesterol content of bile, thereby dissolving cholesterol gallstones and improving bile flow. It is indicated for the management of primary biliary cholangitis, a chronic liver disease characterized by progressive destruction of bile ducts, as well as for the prevention and treatment of cholesterol gallstones in patients who are not candidates for surgery.

Golbicure 300 helps to protect liver cells from the toxic effects of bile acids and promotes the elimination of bile acids from the liver, thus improving liver function tests and reducing symptoms such as itching and fatigue associated with cholestatic liver diseases. The medication is generally well tolerated, but patients should be monitored for potential side effects including diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and allergic reactions.
It is contraindicated in patients with complete biliary obstruction and should be used with caution in those with liver failure. Dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on clinical response and under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
