Gloristat Trio 20 Capsule is a combination medication containing Aspirin (75 mg), Rosuvastatin (20 mg), and Clopidogrel (75 mg), indicated for the prevention of cardiovascular events in patients at high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Aspirin acts as an antiplatelet agent by irreversibly inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), thereby reducing thromboxane A2 synthesis and platelet aggregation. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and exerts pleiotropic effects including improvement of endothelial function and stabilization of atherosclerotic plaques. Clopidogrel is a thienopyridine antiplatelet agent that selectively inhibits the ADP receptor on platelet cell membranes, preventing platelet activation and aggregation. The combination of these agents provides a synergistic effect in reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and other thrombotic complications in patients with established cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors.
