Genxrose-F 10 Tablet is a combination lipid-lowering agent containing Fenofibrate 160 mg and Rosuvastatin 10 mg, indicated for the management of dyslipidemia and mixed hyperlipidemia. Fenofibrate, a fibric acid derivative, primarily reduces triglyceride levels and increases high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) by activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα), which enhances lipolysis and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and total cholesterol by inhibiting the rate-limiting step in cholesterol biosynthesis, thereby upregulating LDL receptors and increasing clearance of circulating LDL particles.
