Genquin Cream contains Monobenzone 20% w/w, a topical depigmenting agent primarily used for the treatment of vitiligo and other stable depigmented lesions of the skin. Monobenzone acts by selectively destroying melanocytes, the pigment-producing cells, leading to a gradual and irreversible depigmentation of the treated areas. Genquin Cream is indicated for patients with extensive vitiligo who seek to achieve uniform skin tone by depigmenting the remaining pigmented skin.

The cream should be applied sparingly and evenly to the affected areas once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional. Treatment duration varies depending on the extent of depigmentation desired and patient response, typically requiring several months for noticeable effects. Caution is advised as Monobenzone can cause local irritation, erythema, and increased photosensitivity; therefore, concurrent use of sun protection measures is recommended.
Genquin Cream is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Monobenzone or any of its excipients. It should be used under medical supervision, especially in individuals with a history of skin disorders or those prone to allergic reactions. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes. Discontinue use if severe irritation or hypersensitivity occurs.
