Garnifit-DM Tablet SR is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Acebrophylline 200 mg, Desloratadine 5 mg, and Montelukast 10 mg, designed for the management of respiratory conditions characterized by bronchoconstriction, inflammation, and allergic symptoms. Acebrophylline acts as a bronchodilator with mucolytic and anti-inflammatory properties, facilitating improved airflow and mucus clearance in obstructive airway diseases such as chronic bronchitis and asthma. Desloratadine, a selective non-sedating antihistamine, effectively alleviates allergic manifestations including rhinorrhea, sneezing, and nasal congestion by blocking peripheral histamine H1 receptors. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, inhibits leukotriene-mediated bronchoconstriction and inflammation, thereby reducing airway hyperresponsiveness and improving respiratory function.
