Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility by accelerating gastric emptying and improving esophageal sphincter tone, thereby reducing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), selectively inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, effectively suppressing gastric acid secretion. This dual-action capsule is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and conditions requiring acid suppression combined with prokinetic activity.
