Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, facilitates gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing gastric acidity and promoting mucosal healing. The sustained-release formulation ensures prolonged therapeutic plasma concentrations, enhancing symptom control and patient compliance.
