Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief in acid-related conditions. The dual-action mechanism of Esoclock-DSR Capsule provides both symptomatic relief and addresses the underlying pathophysiology of acid reflux and delayed gastric emptying.
