Levosulpiride, a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, exerts prokinetic and antiemetic effects by enhancing gastric motility and accelerating gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and abdominal discomfort. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, leading to a significant reduction in gastric acidity and promoting mucosal healing in acid-related disorders.
