Rutoside, a bioflavonoid, acts as a vascular protector by strengthening capillary walls and reducing capillary permeability, thereby minimizing bruising and swelling. Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), resulting in decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation. The synergistic action of these components makes Enzowid-D effective in managing acute musculoskeletal conditions such as sprains, strains, contusions, and postoperative inflammation.
