Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, exhibits potent antiprotozoal and antibacterial activity by disrupting DNA synthesis in anaerobic pathogens, effectively treating invasive amoebiasis and mixed anaerobic infections. Simethicone, an anti-foaming agent, facilitates the relief of bloating and discomfort by reducing gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract. Entrogyl-OZ is indicated for the treatment of amoebic dysentery, amoebic liver abscess, and other protozoal infections accompanied by excessive intestinal gas and flatulence.

The combination therapy ensures comprehensive eradication of both luminal and tissue forms of the parasite while alleviating gastrointestinal symptoms. It is recommended to be administered under medical supervision, with dosage adjustments based on the severity of infection and patient response.
