Lonopin Lonopin-MD (Multidose Vial) 300mg/3ml Injection contains Enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin used as an anticoagulant for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. Each 3 ml vial delivers 300 mg of Enoxaparin, administered via subcutaneous or intravenous injection under medical supervision. Enoxaparin acts by potentiating antithrombin III, thereby inhibiting factor Xa and to a lesser extent factor IIa (thrombin), resulting in the prevention of fibrin clot formation. It is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction. Dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on patient weight, renal function, and clinical condition. Caution is advised in patients with bleeding disorders, thrombocytopenia, or severe renal impairment. Monitoring of anti-factor Xa levels may be necessary in special populations such as pregnant women or those with renal dysfunction.
