Enoxarin 40 Injection contains enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant to prevent and treat thromboembolic disorders. It acts by inhibiting factor Xa and to a lesser extent factor IIa (thrombin), thereby reducing the formation of fibrin clots. Enoxarin 40 Injection is indicated for the prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which may lead to pulmonary embolism in patients undergoing surgery or those immobilized due to acute illness. It is also used in the treatment of acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), often in combination with other antiplatelet agents. The recommended dose is 40 mg administered subcutaneously once daily, adjusted according to patient weight, renal function, and clinical condition. Enoxaparin has a predictable anticoagulant response, allowing fixed dosing without routine monitoring in most patients; however, monitoring anti-factor Xa levels may be necessary in special populations such as those with renal impairment, obesity, or pregnancy. Common adverse effects include bleeding, thrombocytopenia, and injection site reactions. Enoxarin 40 Injection should be used with caution in patients with active bleeding, severe renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to heparins.
