Lmwx 60 Injection contains Enoxaparin sodium 60 mg, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. Enoxaparin acts by potentiating the inhibition of activated Factor Xa and to a lesser extent Factor IIa (thrombin), thereby reducing the formation of fibrin clots. This injection is indicated for the prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) which may lead to pulmonary embolism in patients undergoing surgery or those who are immobilized due to acute illness. It is also employed in the management of acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), often in combination with other antiplatelet agents. Lmwx 60 Injection is administered subcutaneously, with dosage adjusted according to the clinical condition, body weight, and renal function of the patient. Monitoring of anticoagulant effect is generally not required but may be considered in special populations such as those with renal impairment or obesity. Common adverse effects include bleeding and injection site reactions. Use is contraindicated in patients with active major bleeding, hypersensitivity to enoxaparin or heparin, or history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.
