Hepdroid Injection contains Heparin 25,000 IU, an anticoagulant used to prevent and treat thromboembolic disorders. This injection is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, atrial fibrillation with embolization risk, and during hemodialysis or extracorporeal circulation to prevent clotting. Hepdroid Injection is administered via intravenous or subcutaneous routes, with dosage individualized based on patient condition, coagulation parameters, and clinical response. Monitoring of activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) is essential to ensure therapeutic efficacy and minimize bleeding risk.
