Zefway-CV Tablet is a combination antibiotic formulation containing Cefixime 200mg and Clavulanic Acid 125mg, designed to treat a broad spectrum of bacterial infections. Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, enhances the efficacy of Cefixime by preventing the degradation of the antibiotic by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria. This synergistic action makes Zefway-CV effective against various gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, including strains resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, and gonorrhea. The tablet should be administered as prescribed by a healthcare professional, typically orally with or without food.
