About This Medicine

Product description & overview

Moxezar-LP Eye Drop is a sterile, preservative-free, and isotonic solution for ophthalmic use. Each mL of the solution contains 5.0mg of Loteprednol etabonate, a corticosteroid, and 5.0mg of Moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is indicated for the treatment of post-operative inflammation and pain, and for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions such as uveitis, blepharitis, and conjunctivitis. Moxezar-LP Eye Drop is also effective in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Use in pregnant or lactating women should be avoided unless the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk. Common adverse reactions include eye pain, burning, and stinging. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinuation of the product should be considered.
