Klmite Cream is applied as a thin layer over the entire body from the neck down, left on for 8 to 14 hours before washing off, ensuring effective eradication of the infestation. The formulation is generally well-tolerated, with adverse effects limited to mild local reactions such as transient burning, stinging, itching, or erythema at the application site. It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to permethrin or any component of the cream. Caution is advised when used in infants, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with extensive skin lesions. Reapplication may be necessary after 7 to 10 days if symptoms persist.
