Remogliflozin Etabonate, a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, promotes renal glucose excretion by inhibiting glucose reabsorption in the proximal renal tubules, thereby reducing plasma glucose levels. Metformin, a biguanide class agent, primarily decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, enhancing glucose uptake and utilization.
