Amoxycillin and Clarithromycin are antibiotics that act synergistically to eradicate H. pylori by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and protein synthesis, respectively, thereby reducing bacterial load. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, creating a less acidic environment that enhances antibiotic efficacy and promotes mucosal healing.
