Yrab-D 30mg/20mg Capsule SR is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30mg and Rabeprazole 20mg, designed for sustained release to enhance therapeutic efficacy in gastrointestinal disorders. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, facilitates gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating associated with delayed gastric emptying or gastroparesis. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing gastric acidity. The combination is indicated for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and other acid-related disorders where enhanced gastric motility and acid suppression are required.
