Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility by increasing the movement of stomach contents into the intestines, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and peptic ulcers. The sustained-release (SR) formulation ensures prolonged therapeutic action, improving patient compliance by reducing dosing frequency.
