Wenozolid 600 Tablet contains Linezolid 600 mg, an oxazolidinone-class antibiotic effective against a wide range of gram-positive bacterial infections. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of complicated skin and soft tissue infections, nosocomial pneumonia, community-acquired pneumonia, and infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE). Linezolid exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the 23S ribosomal RNA of the 50S subunit, thereby preventing the formation of the initiation complex.
