Orgpan-DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30 mg and Pantoprazole 40 mg, designed to manage gastrointestinal disorders characterized by acid reflux and delayed gastric emptying. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines, thereby facilitating gastric emptying and reducing symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
