Montosil-L Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing Levocetirizine 5mg and Montelukast 10mg, designed to provide comprehensive relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, asthma, and other allergic conditions. The Levocetirizine component is an antihistamine that effectively blocks the action of histamine, a chemical mediator released during allergic reactions, thereby providing relief from symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and itchy skin. The Montelukast component is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the action of leukotrienes, potent chemical mediators of inflammation, thereby providing relief from bronchospasm, inflammation, and increased mucus production.
