Levocetirizine, a third-generation non-sedating antihistamine, selectively inhibits peripheral H1 receptors, thereby reducing allergic symptoms such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, and itching. Phenylephrine, a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist, acts as a decongestant by constricting nasal blood vessels, leading to decreased nasal mucosal edema and improved airflow.
