Montleed Kid Syrup is a combination product containing Levocetirizine and Montelukast, indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria in pediatric patients 2-5 years of age. The syrup is available in a 5ml dose with a concentration of 2.5mg/5ml of Levocetirizine and 4mg/5ml of Montelukast. Levocetirizine is a histamine receptor antagonist that provides rapid and sustained relief from symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and hives. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps to block the production of leukotrienes, which are chemical mediators of inflammation and bronchospasm.
