Montesler L 5mg/10mg Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing levocetirizine (5mg) and montelukast (10mg) for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and/or chronic idiopathic urticaria. Levocetirizine is a histamine H1-receptor antagonist, while montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. The combination of these two active ingredients provides a synergistic effect in alleviating symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing, and itchy nose and eyes. Additionally, Montesler L has been shown to effectively reduce the severity of urticaria, characterized by itchy, raised patches on the skin. The tablet is to be taken once daily, preferably in the evening, with or without food. The recommended dose is one tablet per day, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.
