Lactozed-SR Sachet Orange is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Racecadotril 15 mg, Saccharomyces boulardii 282.5 mg, and Lactobacillus 100 million spores, designed for the management of acute diarrhea and restoration of intestinal flora. Racecadotril acts as an antisecretory agent by inhibiting enkephalinase, thereby reducing excessive intestinal fluid secretion without affecting normal motility. Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast, helps in maintaining and restoring the natural balance of gut microbiota, preventing pathogen colonization and promoting mucosal immunity. Lactobacillus, a beneficial bacterial strain, further supports gut health by enhancing the intestinal barrier function and suppressing harmful microorganisms.
