Jmpento-DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30mg and Pantoprazole 40mg, indicated for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby reducing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related mucosal damage and promoting ulcer healing. The synergistic action of these two agents addresses both the underlying hyperacidity and impaired motility contributing to symptomatic relief and improved patient outcomes.
